渡邊琢磨が音楽を手がけた、染谷将太監督、脚本・菊地凛子『まだここにいる』（出演：菅田将暉、 中島セナ）のサウンドトラック素材を使って新曲をつくる”recomposed project”をデジタ ル配信にてリリース。現行エクスペリメンタル〜アンビエントシーンのベテラン音楽家、 Félicia AtkinsonとAkira Rabelaisによる”recomposed トラック “、そして渡邊自身によ るセルフリミックス、オリジナル・サウンドトラックを含む全 4 曲を収録。

” 晴れの世界に生きる男性と、雨の世界に生きる女性が時空を超えて出会うストーリー ” を描いた染谷将太監督のショートムービー『まだここにいる』のサウンドトラックを、映画の印象をもとに再解釈する企画盤。BjörkやDavid Sylvian とのコラボレーションでも知られるアメリカン・コンポーザーAkira Rabelais、欧州のモダン・エクスペリメンタルシーンでの躍進から、インスタレーション制作まで多彩な活動を行うフランス人アーティストFélicia Atkinsonらが参加。ピアノや弦楽器などの生楽器の旋律と繊細なエレクトロニクスのトリートメントが織りなす、三者三様の白昼夢のような音の世界。

【渡邊琢磨】
宮城県仙台市出身。高校卒業後、米バークリー音楽大学へ留学。大学中退後ニューヨークに渡り、キップ・ハンラハンと共同作業でレコーディングを行う。同作には映像作家ジョナス・メカスらが参加。04年、内田也哉子、鈴木正人らとバンド[sigh boat]を結成。07年、デヴィッド・シルヴィアンのワールドツアー、28公演にバンドメンバーとして参加。楽曲「The World Is Everything」（アルバム『Sleepwalkers』収録）を共作。14年、自身が主宰する弦楽アンサンブルを結成。自身の活動と並行して映画音楽も手がける。近年では、冨永昌敬監督『ローリング』(15)、吉田大八監督『美しい星』(17)、染谷将太監督『ブランク』(18)、ヤングポール監督『ゴーストマスター』(19)ほか。

【Akira Rabelais】（アキラ・ラブレー）
米テキサス南部生まれ、ロサンゼルス在住の作曲家 / ソフトウェア設計者 / 作家。 ビル・ディクソンに作曲、電子音楽および編曲を学び、カリフォルニア芸術大学では電子音楽のリーダーであるモートン・スボトニックおよびトム・エルベに師事。 子どもの頃、農場を囲んでいた有刺鉄線を金属板に打ち付けることによって最初の楽器を制作。その後、音や映像を歪めたりノイズを加えることができる自作のソフトウェア『Argeïphontes Lyre』を制作。アキラ・ラブレーはソフトウェアを書くことを詩を書くことになぞっており、例えば数あるフィルターを「形骸化蘇生法」「ダイナミック FM 音源」「時間 領域変異」「ロブスター・カドリール」など独特な言葉で綴っている。彼の作り出したものは、数学の持つ完璧な美しさと言葉の情緒を以て、私たちを別次元へと誘う。

【Félicia Atkinson】（フェリシア・アトキンソン）
1981 年フランス生まれ。レンヌ在住。2008 年、エコール・デ・ボザールで MFA (Master of Fine Arts With honors) を取得し、パフォーミング・アートの可能性を 探求するボリス・シャルマッツと共に人類学およびコンテンポラリーダンスを研究。 彼女の作品はインスタレーション、彫刻、詩、絵画、ドローイング、パフォーマンス、 音楽など多岐に渡り、数多くのレコード・リリースやライブ上演、世界各地の実験音楽シーンやアートフェアへの参加など、国際的な活動を行っている。フランスを拠点とするインディペンデント出版レーベル・Shelter Press にて、バルトロメ・サンソンと共に共同発行人を務める。

Original film music deconstructed and recomposed by composer Takuma Watanabe together with Félicia Atkinson and Akira Rabelais.
 
Takuma studied composition and music technology at the Berkelee College of Music in the late 90’s and has since been working with film music in Japan. In his work he explores combinations of electronic music and orchestral composition, utilizing a string ensemble founded by himself.
 
This project forms a part of Takuma’s research into the possibilities of creating film music. It takes as its starting point an original soundtrack composed by Takuma for the Japanese short film “まだここにいる” (I’m Still There). The film was directed by the actor Shota Sometani who starred in the films “Himizu” and “Kūkai” and was scripted by the actor Rinko Kikuchi, who starred in “Kumiko, the Treasure Hunter” and “Babel”.
 
American artist Akira Rabelais has collaborated with Björk and David Sylvian, and French artist Félicia Atkinson is highly praised in the experimental music scene as well as the global art scene. They both joined this recomposition project and has each created a completely new composition based on impressions of the film using original materials from the soundtrack.

Takuma Watanabe studied composition and music technology at Berklee college of music in 1997. He joined the world tour of David Sylvian for synthesizer and computer and played 28 concerts in 2007. He started his film composing career in 2010. he founded own strings ensemble with computer technology which has been giving public performances of contemporary music and drone music in 2014. He has performed or collaborated with: David Sylvian, Jonas Mekas, Joan La Barbara, Akira Rabelais, Félicia Atkinson, Kip Hanrahan, Emmet Kelly (The Cairo Gang), Makino Takashi and etc.

Akira Rabelais is an American composer, poet, and software artist. Allmusic.com describes Akira as “an intellectual pioneer as much as anything else”. His software, ‘Argeïphontes Lyre’, is a set of Creative DSP filters, generators, and synthesis techniques for audio, video and text. It includes various types of Recombination, Mutation, Distortion, Symmetries, Abstract Chaotic Synthesis and Strange Attractors. As a child growing up on a racehorse in South Texas he had a fascination with sound, and made his first musical instrument by shooting metal plates strung up along a barbed wire fence.

Félicia Atkinson is a visual artist, an experimental musician, a poet and the co-publisher of Shelter Press. Born in 1981 in Paris she is graduated from Les Beaux Arts de Paris (2008, MFA with honors) and followed in 2003-04 the experimental pedagogical project BOCAL with choreographer Boris Charmatz. Her works deals with topics of improvisation, deep listening, cut ups, duration, silence and noise, musique concrete, poetic spaces, deserts, forests, animism, abstraction, ambient and language. She is currently a PHD researcher in musicology at Rennes 2 University, working on the topics of instruments and programs developed by artists and composer through an utopian desire. She released a dozen of records and books, mostly published by Shelter Press. Her latest LP, Hand in Hand was number 14 of the year charts in The Wire Magazine whereas the previous opus, A readymade Ceremony was one of the « best experimental albums » by Pichfork and Spin Magazine.
