2007年よりhakobune名義で活動を開始し、約8年間で55作のフルアルバム、スプリットやEPを合わせると68作の作品を発表してきました。少部数でリリースされた作品は既に廃盤になっているため、本シリーズではそれらの廃盤となった作品を年代別に分け、6枚のアルバムにまとめました。１枚のアルバムに収まるよう楽曲を選択した上でリマスタリングし、新しいアルバムとして再構成しました。

本作はアメリカconstellation tatsuからリリースされた2本のカセットと、フランスvoxxov recordsのレーベル発足第1弾としてリリースされた2枚組CDからの音源を中心に、ゲームアプリkotoroに提供しjosh mason主宰のカセットレーベルsunshine ltd. からリリースされたwhispering in their presenceや、自主制作したレコードrecalling my insubstantial thoughts等、様々なフォーマットで発表した全9曲を収録しています。
